Fira.nl deliberately keeps its use of cookies to a minimum. On this page we explain which cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and why no consent is required for them.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device to remember information, for example about how you use a website. Not every technique that resembles this is actually a cookie — and not every cookie requires consent.

Functional cookies (no consent required)

Our websiteruns on the Webflow platform. Webflow may place a limited number of technically necessary cookies that are required for the website to function properly, for example to correctly load pages, process forms, or remember basic settings. These cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information and fall under the legal exemption for strictly necessary cookies (Article 11.7a(3) ofthe Dutch Telecommunications Act) — no consent is therefore required for these.

Website statistics: Plausible Analytics

To understand how many people visit our website and which pages they find interesting, we use Plausible Analytics. This tool was deliberately chosen because it does not use cookies or similar technologies:

- No cookies are placed, and no unique, persistent identifier is linked to your device.

- No IP address is stored: it is only used temporarily to determine your general location (country/region) and is discarded immediately afterwards.

- Visit data is processed entirely anonymously and in aggregate — we cannot trace or recognise you as an individual visitor.

- All datais processed and stored exclusively on European servers, and does not leave the EU.

Because this measurement does not process personal data and does not place any(privacy-sensitive) cookies, there is no legal obligation to obtain consent forit. We therefore do not need to ask for your consent via a cookie banner —which is why you won't find one on fira.nl.

If that changes

Should Fira make use of cookies that do require consent in the future (for example by adding marketing tools, embedded videos or external maps), we will update this cookie policy and first ask for your consent via a banner on the website.

Managing cookies yourself

Even thoughfira.nl does not use cookies that require consent, you can always decide for yourself in your browser settings whether, and which, cookies you allow, and delete any cookies that have already been placed. How to do this differs per browser; please refer to your browser's help function for the exact steps.
