What data we collect and why

When youfill in the contact form on fira.nl, we process the data you provide yourself —typically your name, email address and the content of your message. We use thisdata solely to respond to your question or request.

Legalbasis: legitimateinterest (being able to handle questions addressed to us), or the taking ofpre-contractual steps at your request.

Retention period: we do not keep this data for longer than necessary to handle your request and any follow-up correspondence, with a maximum of 2 years after the last contact.

Newsletter sign-up

If you signup for our newsletter, we process the email address (and, where provided, thename) you submit, in order to keep you informed about news and developments atFira.

Legalbasis: yourconsent.

Retention period: until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Vacancies and job applications

If youapply for a job via fira.nl or leave your details on our vacancies page, weprocess the data you share with us, such as your name, contact details, CV andcover letter, in order to carry out the application procedure.

Legalbasis: takingpre-contractual steps at your request (preparation of a possible employmentcontract).

Retention period: up to four weeks after the application procedure ends, unless you give consent for us to keep your data for longer for future vacancies (in which case, a maximum of one year).

Website visits and analytics

We measure, anonymously and without cookies, how many visitors visit our website and which pages they view,in order to improve our website. No personal data is collected or stored in doing so. See our cookie policy page for the full explanation.

Sharing with other parties

We onlyshare personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for the purposesdescribed above, or where we are legally required to do so. We enter into adata processing agreement with parties that process personal data on ourbehalf. Currently, this involves:

- Webflow,Inc. — for hostingand the technical management of our website.

- Salesforce,Inc. — as the CRM system in which we record and follow up on contact details and enquiries from website visitors.

We never sell your data to third parties.

Transfers outside the EU

Our website runs on Webflow, aUS-based company; to the extent that personal data is processed outside the EUas a result, this is done on the basis of the standard contractual clauses usedby Webflow. Our website analytics (Plausible) are processed exclusively within the EU and do not leave the EU.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or have your personal data deleted. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, or toobject to Fira's processing of your personal data, and you have the right to data portability. You can send such a request to info@fira.nl.

We will respond to your request as soon aspossible, and in any case within four weeks. We would also like to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the Dutch national supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).
